IDNEWS.CO.ID – Desainer Migi Rihasalay dan suami Andrew James berhasil mewujudkan impian membangun Kampung Joglo di kawasan pantai Tanjung Lesung, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Banten.
Deretan enam unit rumah adat Jawa yang mulai dibangun sejak tahun 2016 kini telah selesai dan secara resmi dibuka bersamaan dengan acara ‘Mitoni’ yakni memperingati usia kehamilan tujuh bulan.
Migi yang dikenal sebagai perancang busana tematik memberikan apresiasi kepada semua pihak yang turut memeriahkan acara tersebut.
“Saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada para undangan yang telah menghadiri acara kami yakni Pembukaan Kampung Joglo dan Upacara Adat Mitoni,” kata Migi di Tanjung Lesung, Pandeglang, Banten, Minggu (21/5/2023).
Undangan yang hadir pada acara yang digelar selama dua hari tersebut antara lain sejumlah pejabat, pengusaha, seniman, sosialita, tokoh warga, dan masyarakat.
Acara yang berlangsung sejak Kamis lalu tersebut terasa istimewa bagi pasangan suami istri yang berbeda negara ini.
Pasalnya acara tersebut dihadiri anak-anak dari istri pertama Andrew yang tinggal di Australia.
Mereka yang merupakan orang bule cantik dan ganteng, tampak menarik perhatian para hadirin karena
mengenakan pakaian adat Jawa lengkap, termasuk blangkon.
Ayah dan ibu Migi juga hadir bersama adiknya.
Migi merupakan seniman asli Indonesia sedangkan Andrew adalah arsitek bule dari Australia.
Menurut dia, pembangunan Kampung Joglo yang terdiri dari enam unit rumah joglo merupakan impian lama dari Andrew sejak menginjakkan kaki di Indonesia tahun 1981 di Bali.
Lalu, tahun 1990 di Pulau Jawa membuat dirinya cinta dengan adat Jawa.
Termasuk bangunan joglo yang artistik dan serba kayu.
Kecintaan itu diwujudkannya dengan membangun Kampung Joglo di kawasan pesisir Tanjung Lesung yang merupakan Zona Ekonomi Khusus yang dikembangkan pemerintah menjadi kawasan wisata internasional.
Untuk membangun Kampung Joglo butuh waktu lama.
Sebab, Andrew bersama Migi harus berburu materi bangunan yang full kayu jati dari berbagai daerah di Jawa.
“Masing-masing joglo punya ciri khas sendiri dan sebagian usianya sudah mencapai ratusan tahun,” ujar Migi yang tengah hamil tujuh bulan anak pertamanya.
Tujuannya kehadiran ‘kampung kecil’ yang dilengkapi kamar-kamar dan balai serba guna tersebut sebagai ajang kreatif para seniman.
“Sebagai kampung inspiradi dan bisa juga untuk berbagai acara,” sambung Migi yang juga hobi melukis botol bekas dan lainnya.
Ada 6 rumah joglo yang masing-masing diberi nama tokoh wayang yaitu Gatutkaca, Bima, Srikandi, Dewi Khunti, Arjuna, dan Nakula.
Pada peresmian ini tampak pula dihadiri mantan Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif 2014-2019 Arief Yahya, CEO PT Jababeka Setyono Djuandi Darmono, Dirut Banten West Java Purnomo Siswoprasetijo, Managing Director PT Banten West Java (BWJ) Widi Widiasmanto, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan kebudayaan Kabupaten Pandeglang, Neneng Nuraeni, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Banten Al Hamidi, mantan pembalap nasional dan Tinton Suprapto.
Sejumlah pejabat itu menyebut bahwa di dekat kawasan ini segera dibangun jalan tol untuk memudahkan transportasi masyarakat dan wisatawan. (ria)
