IDNEWS.CO.ID – Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika dan Statistik (Kominfotik) DKI Jakarta menggelar Media Gathering bersama Koordinatoriat Wartawan Balaikota-DPRD DKI Jakarta (Balkoters).

Kegiatan ini diikuti puluhan wartawan baik cetak maupun elektronik.

Hadir mewakili Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Kepala Dinas Kominfotik, Kepala Bidang Informasi Publik Dinas Kominfotik DKI Jakarta Raides Aryanto.

Raides mengatakan, Media Gathering ini diadakan untuk semakin memperkuat sinergisitas antara Dinas Kominfotik DKI Jakarta bersama insan media yang bertugas di Balaikota dan DPRD.

“Melalui kegiatan silaturahmi dalam suasana penuh keakraban ini kita juga menjaring masukan dari teman-teman wartawan sebagai mitra kerja kita,” ujar Raides di lokasi Media Gathering, kawasan Sentul Selatan, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Jumat (26/5/2023) malam.

Raides menjelaskan, insan media merupakan mitra strategis dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat luas baik terkait kebijakan, program pembangunan hingga memberikan kritik membangun.

“Media memiliki peran penting untuk menyajikan berita atau menyampaikan informasi secara akurat. Sehingga, melalui kerja rekan-rekan wartawan diharapkan tidak ada mis informasi yang diterima masyarakat,” terang dia.

Dalam kerjanya, Raides berkeyakinan, wartawan juga mampu melaksanakan tanggung jawab moril untuk tidak hanya sekadar menyebarluaskan informasi dalam bentuk teks maupun visual, tapi juga menghadirkan nilai-nilai edukatif.

“Pers memiliki andil besar, terlebih dalam era media sosial saat ini. Termasuk, dalam perannya untuk mencegah masyarakat termakan informasi yang bersifat hoaks. Dinas Kominfotik akan terus bersinergi dengan teman-teman wartawan menyampaikan informasi yang benar dan valid,” ungkap dia.

Kepala Bidang Komunikasi Publik Dinas Kominfotik DKI Jakarta Koharudin menuturkan, Media Gathering ini mengangkat tema ‘Pererat Silaturahmi Mantapkan Sinergi’.

“Kami akan terus memperkuat hubungan antara Pemprov DKI Jakarta dengan rekan-rekan media. Kami sangat terbuka menerima masukan serta berkomitmen mendukung dan memfasilitasi kerja-kerja jurnalistik rekan-rekan media,” beber dia.

Ia menambahkan, langkah-langkah solutif untuk semakin memudahkan kerja wartawan akan menjadi fokus perhatian.

Termasuk, terkait kendala narasumber dari Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) juga akan dilakukan akselerasi.

“Kami berencana mengadakan media atau press briefing untuk menjembatani kebutuhan wartawan dengan OPD,” ucapnya.

Media Gathering ini, lanjut Kohar, akan dijadikan agenda tahunan.

Sehingga, keakraban baik antara jajaran Dinas Kominfotik dengan wartawan maupun sesama wartawan bisa semakin erat.

“Melalui kegiatan ini juga menjadi upaya kami memberikan nuansa rileks kepada teman-teman media ditengah kesibukan kerja sehari-hari. Termasuk, melalui outbound fun yang diadakan pagi tadi,” imbuh dia.

Sementara itu, Ketua Koordinatoriat Wartawan Balaikota-DPRD DKI Jakarta Sammy Edward Watimena mengapresiasi dan terima kasih kepada Pemprov DKI Jakarta, khususnya Dinas Kominfotik yang sudah menyelenggarakan Media Gathering tersebut.

“Sinergisitas ini sangat penting dilakukan. Sebab, bagaimanapun juga jajaran di Pemprov DKI adalah juga mitra kerja kami dalam melakukan tugas peliputan,” tutur dia.

Ia berharap, melalui keakraban yang sudah terjalin ini akan membuat kerja-kerja wartawan di Balaikota dan DPRD DKI Jakarta semakin lancar.

“Mayoritas berita tentu perlu adanya statement dari narasumber dan data dibutuhkan yang bisa didapat secara cepat. Untuk itu, kami juga ingin apa yang menjadi keperluan pemberitaan sesuai pedoman Kode Etik Jurnalistik tidak menemui kendala,” tutur Sammy. (bhd)
